03:21 PM EDT, 05/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) said Monday it is introducing a new category of Windows PCs designed for AI, Copilot+ PCs.

The PCs are powered by new silicon capable of 40+ trillion operations per second, all-day battery life and access to advanced AI models, the company said in a blog.

The new Copilot+ PCs are available from Microsoft Surface and its partners Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo and Samsung, with pre-orders beginning Monday and availability starting June 18 at prices from $999, the blog said.
