Microsoft, NFL Enter Multiyear AI Partnership

10:04 AM EDT, 08/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) and the National Football League said Wednesday they have entered a multiyear partnership extension to use artificial intelligence technologies to power game day and workday experiences for the league and its teams.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Under the deal, Microsoft ( MSFT ) will integrate its Copilot and Azure AI technologies to enhance sideline evaluation, scout new talent and streamline stadium operation, they said.

Additionally, more than 2,500 Microsoft Surface Copilot+ PCs are being deployed to clubs to upgrade the league's sideline viewing system that allows coaches and players to access real-time data and analysis.
