Microsoft, Oracle Add 5 Cloud Regions to Oracle Database@Azure Service

08:37 AM EDT, 03/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) and Oracle (ORCL) said Thursday they are adding five more regions to their Oracle Database@Azure collaboration, bringing the total planned multi-cloud availability footprint to 15 globally.

The companies said customers can now place orders for Oracle Database@Azure in the Microsoft Azure Germany west central region in Frankfurt to mark their debut in Europe.

Besides East US, which became available in December, Oracle Database@Azure now runs in Australia East, Brazil South, Canada Central, France Central, Central India, Italy North, Japan East, Southeast Asia, Sweden Central, United Kingdom South, Central United States, South Central United States, and United Arab Emirates North cloud regions.

Oracle Database@Azure allows customers to use Oracle database services on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure deployed in Azure data centers.
