(Reuters) -Microsoft ( MSFT ) is prepared to walk away from its high-stakes talks with OpenAI over the future of its multibillion-dollar alliance, the Financial Times reported on Wednesday.

Microsoft ( MSFT ) and OpenAI did not immediately respond to Reuters' requests for comment.
