Microsoft Reportedly Signs Licensing Deal for Harvard University's Consumer Health Content

06:19 AM EDT, 10/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) has signed a licensing agreement with Harvard University's graduate medical school to gain access to the department's consumer health content, multiple news outlets reported Wednesday.

Reuters reported that Harvard University has announced the agreement, saying it was made through Harvard Health Publishing and that Microsoft ( MSFT ) has agreed to pay the university a licensing fee. No financial details were disclosed.

Sources told The Wall Street Journal that content from the agreement will be used in an upcoming update of Microsoft's ( MSFT ) Copilot, which could be released this month.

Microsoft ( MSFT ) and Harvard University did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comments.
