Microsoft, Siemens Collaborate to Upgrade Gen AI Assistant Siemens Industrial Copilot

12:03 PM EDT, 10/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) and Siemens said Thursday that they are collaborating to upgrade the generative artificial intelligence-backed assistant Siemens Industrial Copilot.

According to the companies, the Siemens Industrial Copilot is now able to "handle the most demanding environments at scale" through the combination of Microsoft's ( MSFT ) Azure OpenAI Service with Siemens' industrial solutions.

The partners said thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering is the first customer planning to use the Copilot globally, with integration to start in early 2025, out of more than 100 companies that are currently using the the Siemens Industrial Copilot.
