Microsoft to Open First Cloud Region in Malaysia in Q2

07:09 AM EDT, 03/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) said Thursday it will open its first cloud region in Malaysia in Q2.

The cloud region, known as the Malaysia West cloud, will be located in the greater Kuala Lumpur area, the tech giant added.

Once operational, the cloud region will provide Malaysian organizations with access to Microsoft's ( MSFT ) cloud technologies to enhance their operations and build digital resilience, the company said.
