08:47 AM EST, 02/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT )-backed (MSFT) OpenAI and South Korean mobile communication company Kakao signed a partnership agreement to enhance Kakao's services by utilizing OpenAI's artificial intelligence technology, the latter said Tuesday.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Kakao intends to deploy ChatGPT Enterprise at its workplace and will also power its AI Agent Kanana with OpenAI's advanced models, it added.
