Microsoft-backed OpenAI Launches ChatGPT Gov for US Government Agencies

10:59 AM EST, 01/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT )-backed (MSFT) OpenAI unveiled on Tuesday ChatGPT Gov, which it said is designed to provide US government agencies with an extra way to access OpenAI's frontier models.

OpenAI said the government agencies will be able to use ChatGPT Gov in their own Microsoft Azure commercial cloud or in the Azure Government cloud.
