03:37 AM EDT, 10/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Mid-America Apartment Communities ( MAA ) said late Monday that it suffered minor damage to locations in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and the Carolinas because of Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

The real estate investment trust said that a number of its apartment units were taken off-line in wake of the storms but all of its residential projects continue to operate.
