10:53 AM EDT, 08/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- MiMedx (MDXG) former employee Caralyn Gargan filed counterclaims against the company for alleged "predatory sales practices" following a noncompete dispute, Gargan attorney Mintz said Monday in a statement.

Gargan is one of 10 defendants who were sued earlier this year by MiMedx for allegedly breached their contractual obligations, Mintz said.

Gargan's counterclaims also allege MiMedx also engaged in "incentivized fraud," Mintez said.

Another former MiMedx employee, Lora Whooley, recently filed a counterclaim.

MiMedx declined to comment on Gargan's counterclaims.
