09:29 AM EDT, 06/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Mirasol Resources ( MRZLF ) identified the VN-Zone as a high-priority drill target at the Sobek copper-gold-silver project in Chile following the completion of an exploration season.

Mirasol made the distinction based on the reinterpretation of a geophysical survey and strong gold-copper surface mineralization, the mineral exploration company said Monday.

Drilling at the 46 South target confirmed a hydrothermal system with anomalous copper/gold intervals, while the Green Wall prospect is being reexamined as a potential expression of a more extensive concealed copper-rich mineralized system, according to Mirasol.

"We continue to prioritize drill targets while advancing the Sobek geological model by integrating data acquired from our exploration programs and leveraging insights gained from neighboring discoveries across the Vicuna District," Mirasol President Tim Heenan said.
