08:08 AM EDT, 04/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Moderna ( MRNA ) said Monday that it has secured a contract from the Ministry of Health in Brazil to supply 12.5 million doses of its mRNA COVID-19 vaccine for Brazil's 2024 vaccination campaign.

The vaccines are expected to be delivered in Q2, the company said.

Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
