Moderna to Onshore Drug Product Manufacturing in US

08:08 AM EST, 11/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Moderna ( MRNA ) said Wednesday that it is onshoring drug product manufacturing to its Moderna Technology Center in Norwood, Massachusetts.

The company said the move boosts its US commercial and clinical supply capabilities and reflects more than $140 million in planned investment, which would create hundreds of biomanufacturing jobs.

Construction for the new drug product manufacturing capability at MTC has already started with completion scheduled for H1 2027, the company said.
