09:13 AM EDT, 10/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Momentus ( MNTS ) shares were up 11% premarket Thursday after the company said it received two NASA contracts worth a combined $7.6 million.
The company said it received a $5.1 million contract from NASA's Flight Opportunities program to support the demonstration of the Commercial Orbital System for microgravity in-space crystallization. The technology aims to use space's microgravity environment to advance crystal growth for pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, and advanced materials, it said.
Momentus ( MNTS ) also said it received a $2.5 million contract from NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center to perform an on-orbit demonstration of a new thruster.
