09:42 AM EDT, 06/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- MongoDB ( MDB ) said Monday it plans to seek FedRAMP High and Impact Level 5 authorizations to expand the use of its cloud database service, MongoDB Atlas for Government, by US federal agencies handling sensitive data.

The company said it currently supports workloads certified for FedRAMP Moderate and the new authorizations would allow MongoDB Atlas for Government to be used for more sensitive applications such as emergency services, financial systems, law enforcement, and healthcare.

Shares of the company were up 1.4% in recent trading.
