07:45 AM EDT, 05/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Montage Gold ( MAUTF ) on Tuesday said its flagship Kone project in Cote d'Ivoire is "well on track" for first gold pour in the second quarter of 2026.

Montage said a 90,000-meter drill program is underway and that 45,887 meters were drilled in the first quarter at a cost of $6.9 million. More than $304 million has been committed, representing one-third of the total capital expenditure, with prices in line with expectations, the company said.
