Monument Mining Swings to Fiscal Fourth-Quarter Profit as Revenue Rises

01:51 PM EDT, 09/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Monument Mining ( MMTMF ) on Monday said it swung to a profit in its fiscal fourth-quarter on higher revenue.

The company reported a profit before other items of US$2.7 million, or US$0.02 per share, in the quarter ended June 30, compared with a loss before other items of US$0.9 million, or US$0.01, a year earlier.

Revenue rose to US$18.6 million, from US$3.2 million.

Monument produced 12,003 ounces of gold and sold 10,413 ounces at US$2,295 per ounce during the quarter, compared with last year's production of 4,409 ounces and sales of 1,148 ounces of gold at US$1,949 per ounce.

Monument was last seen up $0.02 to $0.21 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
