Morguard Announces Opening of a Trader Joe's at the Square in Rockville, Maryland

04:03 PM EDT, 06/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Morguard ( MRCBF ) and Morguard North American REIT (MRG.UN) on Thursday the opening of a Trader Joe's grocery store at The Square in Rockville, Maryland.

According to a joint release, The Square is owned by the REIT and managed by Morguard ( MRCBF ), having undergone a recent re-brand and added several new restaurants.

"This announcement follows The Square's recent rebrand and the launch of several culinary destinations, including Little Miner Taco, Kusshi Sushi, Dirty Dough, and Kung Fu Kitchen . Together, these additions are reshaping The Square as a must-visit destination that reflects the tastes, energy, and spirit of the Rockville community," they noted.

Morguard ( MRCBF ) shares closed unchanged at $14.30 on the Toronto Stock Exchange, while Morguard North American REIT units closed up $0.10 to $18.65.
