Morningstar to Acquire the Center for Research in Security Prices for $375 Million

07:42 AM EDT, 09/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Morningstar ( MORN ) said Tuesday it has entered an agreement to acquire the Center for Research in Security Prices from the University of Chicago for $375 million.

The company said it will also acquire the CRSP Market Indexes as part of the transaction, which is expected to close in Q4.
