Mosaic says Milton overwhelmed water collection system at Florida fertilizer facility

CHICAGO, Oct 11 (Reuters) - Mosaic Co ( MOS ) said on

Friday that Hurricane Milton had overwhelmed a water collection

system that supported storage of a waste byproduct from

processing phosphate at a facility in Riverview, Florida.

The company believes some excess water from the system made

its way to an area that discharges into Tampa Bay, according to

a statement.
