07:07 AM EST, 01/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Mosaic (MOS) and Fosfatados Centro SPE said Monday that Mosaic agreed to sell a phosphate asset in Patos de Minas, Brazil to Fosfatados Centro for $125 million in cash, payable over six years.
The companies said the transaction covers the Patos de Minas mine and tailings dams. According to Mosaic, the sale aligns with its strategy to monetize non-core assets and divert capital to projects with high returns.
The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals, according to the statement.
