Motor racing-F1 and FIA approve GM-backed Cadillac entry for 2026

LONDON, March 7 (Reuters) - Formula One and the sport's FIA world governing body said in a joint statement on Friday they had formally approved a General Motors ( GM )-backed Cadillac entry to become the 11th team on the grid from 2026. Both said the necessary sporting, technical and commercial assessments had been completed.
