Motorola Solutions' LMR Segment Reacceleration to Boost Revenue, UBS Says
Jul 16, 2025 8:16 AM

10:58 AM EDT, 07/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Motorola Solutions' ( MSI ) land mobile radio segment, which saw a slowdown in fiscal 2025 due to backlog normalization, will have a modest reacceleration in 2026, supporting overall revenue improvement, UBS said in a Wednesday note.

The company's video and command center segments are emerging growth drivers with an estimated double-digit growth in fiscal 2025 and further acceleration the next year, according to the note.

"The new SVX body camera, which uniquely incorporates Motorola's LMR voice technology, is a competitive advantage and positions it for potential share gains and new contracts," UBS said.

The firm said the $4.4 billion acquisition of Silvus Technologies expands Motorola's total addressable market into defense technology and autonomous systems and will be earnings per share accretive.

UBS initiated coverage of Motorola's stock with a buy rating and $490 price target.
