04:44 PM EDT, 05/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Motorola Solutions ( MSI ) said late Tuesday it has agreed to buy Silvus Technologies, a developer of software-defined high-speed mobile ad-hoc network technology, for $4.4 billion in up-front consideration.
The deal includes approximately $4.38 billion in cash, subject to customary adjustments, and about $20 million in restricted stock granted to certain Silvus employee equity holders. Silvus also stands to earn up to $600 million based on performance milestones through 2027 and 2028, the company said.
The acquisition is expected to close in the Q3 or Q4, pending regulatory approval, Motorola Solutions ( MSI ) said.
