MILAN, Oct 3 (Reuters) - Bank of America's ( BAC ) Italy
head, Nino Mattarella, is set to leave his post in early 2026
after more than eight years at the U.S. bank, an internal memo
seen by Reuters showed.
The memo from Bernie Mensah, president of International
business at BofA, said that Mattarella had informed him of his
decision to leave the company. The memo did not give a reason
for his decision.
A new country executive for Italy will be announced in due
course, with Mattarella remaining with the bank until February
to ensure a smooth transition, Mensah said.
Mattarella, formerly at Goldman Sachs ( GS ), joined BofA in 2017
and was country executive as well as head of corporate and
investment banking for Italy.
