MOVES-US Bancorp hires AmEx executive as head of consumer payments

Jan 15 (Reuters) - U.S. Bancorp ( USB ) said on

Wednesday industry veteran Courtney Kelso would join the lender

as a senior executive vice president and head of consumer

payments, effective Feb. 3.

Kelso joins U.S. Bancorp ( USB ) from American Express ( AXP ),

where she spent close to 18 years working in the consumer and

small business payments segments.

"Her deep experience in consumer and small business payments

will be an excellent complement to our organization," said U.S.

Bancorp ( USB ) President Gunjan Kedia, to whom Kelso will report.

Kelso has also worked at consultancy firms McKinsey and

Company and Accenture ( ACN ).
