07:46 AM EST, 11/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- MPLX ( MPLX ) , ONEOK ( OKE ) , Enbridge ( ENB ) , and gas transmission asset operator WhiteWater, through their Matterhorn joint venture, will expand the Eiger Express Pipeline, WhiteWater said Monday.

Whitewater said the pipeline's capacity will be expanded to 3.7 billion cubic feet per day from 2.5 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas from the Permian Basin in West Texas.

The upsizing increases the gas pipeline's diameter to 48 inches from 42 inches and includes incremental compression, the company said.

WhiteWater said the expected in-service-date remains mid-2028.
