Mr. Cooper Group Stockholders Approve Merger With Rocket

04:49 PM EDT, 09/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Mr. Cooper Group ( COOP ) said late Wednesday that its stockholders have voted to approve the company's merger agreement with Rocket Companies ( RKT ) .

Under the terms of the merger agreement, Mr. Cooper ( COOP ) stockholders will receive 11 shares of Rocket's Class A common stock for each share of Mr. Cooper ( COOP ) common stock they own.

Mr. Cooper ( COOP ) also noted it may declare and pay a dividend of $2.00 per share to its stockholders before the transaction's effective time.

The completion of the acquisition is still subject to the satisfaction or waiver of the remaining closing conditions, the company said.
