08:04 AM EDT, 07/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- MSCI ( MSCI ) and Moody's (MCO) have forged a strategic partnership to gain access to each other's data and deliver sustainability solutions to markets, the companies said in a joint statement Monday.

Under the partnership agreement, Moody's will leverage MSCI's ( MSCI ) sustainability data and models, including ESG ratings and content, while MSCI ( MSCI ) will gain access to Moody's Orbis database, the companies said.

In addition, MSCI ( MSCI ) and Moody's said they will consider new products that leverage Moody's private company data and credit scoring models for the private credit market.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
