One analyst polled by FactSet expected EPS of $1.67.

Net sales for the quarter ended Dec. 27 were $962.4 million, compared with $923.5 million a year earlier.

Analyst estimates were not available for comparison.

Shares of the company were down 2.2% in Tuesday's premarket activity.
