Mueller Water Products' Q3 Results Rise Above Analyst Forecasts, Boosts 2024 Revenue Outlook; Shares Jump After-Hours

05:40 PM EDT, 08/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Mueller Water Products ( MWA ) was higher during Monday's late session, adding 6% after the water utility company reported Q3 adjusted net income of $0.32 per diluted share compared with $0.18 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.22.

Net sales for the quarter ended June 30 was $356.7 million, compared with $326.6 million a year earlier.

Analysts expected $329.7 million.

For 2024, the water utility company is projecting net sales between $1.29 billion and $1.3 billion, up from its prior forecast expecting $1.25 million to $1.28 billion.

Analysts are looking for $1.27 billion this year.
