The ninth edition of the Hurun Global Rich List 2020 is out and it ranks 2,816 billionaires from 71 countries and 2,182 companies. 138 Indians made it to the list. Six of them were ranked in the top 100. Over 1/3rd rich billionaires (50) reside in Mumbai, followed by New Delhi (30), Bengaluru (17) and Ahmedabad (12).
In total, India got 34 new billionaires to take the count to 138 on the list, topped by Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Industries with $67 billion in net worth, minting Rs 7 crore every hour, and the number jumps to 170 if Indian-origin billionaires outside the country are tallied.
