Rahul Puri, MD of Mukta Arts, spoke to CNBC-TV18 about the company's business plans and growth prospects.

"We have managed to add a number of screens over the last year and up to now we have got 64 screens across the country," Puri said on Thursday.

Talking about the business, Puri said, “We are now focused on a lot of renovation. Last quarter we spent a great deal of capex on renovating our cinemas.”

On the growth front, he said, “We should get up to about 80-85 screens by the end of the next financial year.”

“Our margins will improve greatly as we add screens and our current advertising deal is on per screen basis. So the more screens we add over a period of time the better our margins will be,” he added.
