10:23 AM EDT, 08/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Mullen Automotive ( MULN ) said Wednesday its Bollinger Motors unit plans to start production of saleable units of the Bollinger B4 chassis cab commercial truck Sept. 16.

Deliveries and revenue recognition of the truck will begin in October, the electric vehicle maker said.

Bollinger Motors' production is in partnership with Roush Industries, which provides contract manufacturing services from its Livonia, Michigan, facility, Mullen Automotive ( MULN ) said.

The company's shares rose 13% in recent trading Wednesday.
