Mumbai's realty companies are buzzing ahead of the announcement of the city's development plan as this move could potentially unlock over 3,700 hectares of land.
In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Anuj Puri, Chairman and Country Head of Anarock Property Consultants, said that development plan for 2034 will bring in targeted construction of 10 lakh homes in the city.
He further said, "We are positive that construction of affordable homes will take place."
Talking about listed companies, he said, “I feel there is going to be a massive real estate activity not only in the suburbs, where majority of non-development zone (NDZ) land is, but equally in the city suburbs."
