HOUSTON, Sept 10 (Reuters) - Murphy Oil Corp ( MUR ) was
evacuating non-essential personnel at its Gulf of Mexico assets
on Tuesday as Tropical Storm Francine barreled towards
Louisiana, a spokesperson said.
The company anticipates minimal impacts to its operations.
About 24% of crude production and 26% of natural gas output
in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico were offline due to the storm, the
U.S. Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement said on
Tuesday.
