Musk Accuses Apple of Favoring OpenAI, Warns of 'Immediate' Legal Action
Aug 12, 2025 3:07 AM

05:46 AM EDT, 08/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) could face a legal action as Elon Musk accused the company of violating antitrust rules by favoring OpenAI on its App Store, according to Musk's Tuesday post of social media platform X.

"Apple ( AAPL ) is behaving in a manner that makes it impossible for any AI company besides OpenAI to reach #1 in the App Store, which is an unequivocal antitrust violation," said Musk, adding that his xAI company will take "immediate legal action."

Apple ( AAPL ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
