Musk is a person with 'added value', interlocutor at this time, Italy PM says
Nov 9, 2024 12:55 PM

ROME, Nov 8 (Reuters) - Italian Prime Minister Giorgia

Meloni on Friday said she considered Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who

backed Donald Trump in his victorious presidential campaign, a

person with "added value" and a good interlocutor.

"I consider Elon Musk an added value at this time, a person

who has certainly done some extraordinary, important things, and

I think that he should and can be an interlocutor," she told

reporters in Budapest, on the margins of a European leader

summit.

Meloni and Musk have repeatedly praised each other in public

in recent months, and the Italian prime minister spoke to the

entrepreneur after Trump's victory for a second presidency.
