05:21 PM EDT, 09/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- NamSys ( NMYSF ) said Wednesday that its fiscal third-quarter revenue and profit rose year-over-year.
For the quarter ended July 31, the company earned $581,481, or $0.02 per share, up from $362,049, or $0.01, a year ago. Revenue rose 15% to $1.74 million from $1.52 million a year earlier.
The company also said it bought and canceled an additional 128,200 common shares, bringing the total to 405,000 shares purchased and canceled under the Normal Course Issuer Bid that started on Aug. 30, 2023, and expired this Aug. 30.
Separately, NamSys ( NMYSF ) said Joe Prodan has resigned from the board of directors, effective Sept. 30th. The company added that Michael Robb has joined the board and will be serving on the audit committee.
The company's shares last traded Sept.23, closing at $1.05 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
