11:37 AM EST, 01/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nano Nuclear Energy ( NNE ) said Tuesday that it recently acquired a portfolio of international patents for composite moderators from Ultra Safe Nuclear.

The company said the patent portfolio includes a US patent covering the design and construction of composite moderators that aim to improve safety and waste management, along with related patents in Canada, Russia, Japan, China, South Korea, and the European Union.

According to Nano Nuclear Energy ( NNE ), the newly acquired patents are expected to "enhance" protections for its modular microreactor technologies.

No financial details were disclosed.
