10:16 AM EDT, 07/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nano Nuclear Energy ( NNE ) said Wednesday that it has acquired 2.75 acres of land in Oak Brook, Illinois, for $3.5 million, to support the development of its KRONOS MMR Microreactor Energy System project.

The plot of land will include a 23,537 square foot building facility that will initially accommodate up to 60 nuclear engineers, researchers, and support staff involved in component construction and testing for the KRONOS MMR project.

The KRONOS MMR is a stationary high-temperature gas-cooled reactor, which is in construction permit pre-application engagement.

Shares of the company were up 5% in recent trading.
