09:22 AM EDT, 10/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nano Nuclear Energy ( NNE ) said Wednesday it closed its acquisition of Global First Power from affiliates of Ultra Safe Nuclear.

As principal consideration for the transaction, Nano Nuclear said it assumed a $640,000 liability owned by Global First Power to the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, which it plans to pay in the near future.

With the acquisition, Nano Nuclear said it directly owns the licensing application with the Canadian regulator to build a KRONOS MMR Energy System demonstration project at Chalk River Laboratories in Ontario, Canada.
