09:20 AM EDT, 10/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nano Nuclear Energy ( NNE ) said Tuesday that it has rebranded its Canadian business as True North Nuclear, following Nano's recent acquisition of Global First Power.

Through True North Nuclear, Nano Nuclear Energy ( NNE ) is preparing to submit a License to Prepare Site with the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission for the Kronos MMR Canadian project in Ontario, the company said.

NANO Nuclear also said it plans to submit a construction permit application to the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission for the Kronos MMRTM University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana project in Q1 of next year.

Shares of the company were up more than 2% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
