11:19 AM EDT, 07/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Nano Nuclear Energy ( NNE ) said Monday that it signed a memorandum of understanding with Curio Solutions to enhance Curio's nuclear fuel recycling capabilities for its next-generation portable nuclear microreactors

The companies will collaborate for one year to optimize the recyclability of Nano Nuclear's fuel designs using Curio's NuCycle process and to explore ways to integrate recycled fuel into advanced microreactor designs, Nano said.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Shares of Nano Nuclear jumped by nearly 28% in recent Monday trading.
