June 18 (Reuters) - NASA has selected Lockheed Martin ( LMT )

to build its next-generation spacecraft for the National

Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in a

cost-plus-award-fee contract valued at about $2.27 billion, the

U.S. defense contractor said on Tuesday.
