04:50 AM EDT, 08/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Nasdaq (NDAQ) reported Monday US matched equity volume of 39.6 billion shares in July, up from 33.9 billion shares a year earlier.

US equity options volume for derivatives was 297 million contracts for the month, up from 255 million contracts a year earlier.

Meanwhile, European equity volume was $65.0 billion for the month, up from $55.3 billion a year earlier, the company said.
