Nasdaq Trading Volumes in May Decline

04:43 PM EDT, 06/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nasdaq (NDAQ) said late Tuesday its US equity options volume fell sequentially in May to 316 million contracts from 346 million.

US matched equity volume for the month also declined sequentially to 49.45 billion shares from 59.21 billion.

European equity volume dropped in May to $80 billion worth of traded shares from $90 billion in April.
