Nasdaq Updates Swedish Stock Exchange's Dual US Listing Rules
Dec 2, 2024 6:52 AM

09:43 AM EST, 12/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Nasdaq (NDAQ) said Monday that it has updated the rulebook for its Nasdaq Stockholm Main Market, effective Jan. 1

The market operator said the update is intended to streamline the listing review process for companies that want to list on Nasdaq in Sweden as well as in the US.

Nasdaq said the update will allow companies to list on its Swedish exchange at the same time or within 12 months of a US listing on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange.

The company said that under the new model, companies approved to list in the US will continue to be reviewed through the Nasdaq Stockholm listing process. However, it said the process will no longer require a separate review by a listing auditor when applying for a dual listing on Nasdaq Stockholm.
