National Vision Holdings' Shares Fall in Early Trading After Fiscal Q1 Adjusted Earnings, Net Revenue Rise

10:15 AM EDT, 05/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- National Vision Holdings' ( EYE ) shares were down 15% in early Wednesday trading after the company reported fiscal Q1 adjusted earnings Wednesday of $0.32 per diluted share, compared with $0.31 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $0.26.

Total net revenue for the quarter ended March 30 was $542.5 million, compared with $520.8 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $552.7 million.

The company said it expects full-year fiscal 2024 adjusted earnings of $0.50 to $0.65 per diluted share on net revenue of approximately $1.97 billion to $2.01 billion. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect adjusted earnings of $0.59 per diluted share on revenue of $1.99 billion.
